Call for resolutions and nominations for election to Humber Avenue Community Allotments Community Interest Company and Committee
The Humber Avenue Community Allotments Community Interest Company Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 21st April 2023 at Durrington Community Centre commencing at 19.30.
Any fully paid up tenant at Humber Avenue Community Allotments (HACA) is entitled to nominate themselves or other members with their prior permission, as candidates for the following positions:
· Chairperson and Director of HACA
· Treasurer and Director of HACA
· Company Secretary and Director of HACA
· Membership Secretary and Director of HACA
· Project Co-ordinator
· Health & Safety Advisor
· Website & Facebook Administrator
· Newsletter Administrator
· Events Co-Ordinator
A guide to role responsibilities is attached to this communication, posted on the HACA website and in the social room.
Nominations can be either self-nominated or you may nominate another plotholder, but their permission must be sought first and in either case the nomination must be made in writing to:

To arrive no later than 31st March 2023
Any member of HACA (Person who holds a current and paid up Tenancy Agreement) may submit a resolution for inclusion in the AGM agenda. Again this must be sent to the HACA Company Secretary To arrive no later than 31st March 2023
Following receipt of nominations and any resolution, a further notification of the date, time and place of the Annual General Meeting together with an agenda will be published in accordance with paragraph 5.1 of the HACA Constitution which states:
Members are entitled to attend Annual General Meetings (AGMs), which are called on at least fourteen clear days written notice to the members specifying the business to be transacted.
